Johnson Controls to Partner on School IAQ Assessment Program

On September 2, Johnson Controls announced that it would collaborate with UL, a global leader in safety science, and SafeTraces, which offers DNA-based safety technology for ensuring air quality, in a new program to evaluate the effectiveness of indoor air quality (IAQ), ventilation, and filtration systems, and infection control strategies for schools serving children from kindergarten through 12th grade (K–12). Working together, these three organizations are offering K–12 schools a holistic program to create healthy classroom and campus environments.
