Midea Achieves Net Profits of RMB 15 B in the First Half of the Year

At the end of August, Midea Group released its half-year report for the first half of 2021. Inheriting four key strategies centered around leading science and technologies, Midea achieved business development in both its ToB and ToC businesses, ToB is for enterprises, and ToC is for individuals, fostering dual qualitative change for its domestic and overseas businesses, with five clear business structures and effective implementation of four key strategies, achieving breakthroughs in its management systems, structures, and mechanisms. According to Chinese media, the company achieved revenues of RMB 174.8 billion (about US$ 27.07 billion), growing by 25.14% year on year; it also achieved net profits of RMB 15 billion (about US$ 2.32 billion), growing by 7.76% year on year.
