Release of EPBD Revision under Fit for 55

The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) has been presented today by the European Commission under the winter package of Fit for 55. It was presented alongside a framework to decarbonise the gas market and follows the release of 13 other proposals earlier this summer under Fit for 55 to get the EU’s policies fit to reach the target of a 55% reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030, compared to 1990 levels.
