The most anticipated major markets in Southeast Asia continued to decline in 2021, and the overall situation was rather dismal.

In Southeast Asia, the weather was terrible in the first half of 2021 due to the La Niña phenomenon, and the temperatures did not rise due to lengthy rainy periods. In particular, the weather in Thailand, southern Vietnam, and northern Malaysia in the Indochina Peninsula was unpleasant. Unseasonably cool weather prevented the significant markets in this region from performing well.
