An optimal coupled control system of lighting/air conditioning utilizing the hue-heat effect will be commercialized in Japan from 2022.

The hue-heat effect is an effect that enables people to perceive warmth and coolness – heat – by the color – hue – registered by their eyes. People feel cool when they move from a room with warm-colored lighting to a room with cool-colored lighting, and vice versa.
