Preventing Refrigerant Leakage Is Not Easy

Efforts to prevent global warming involve major challenges in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) industry. There have been efforts focused mainly on the reduction and emissions control of fluorocarbon refrigerants with high global warming potentials (GWPs) and the promotion of energy savings at the level of HVAC&R equipment.
