UK-India Innovation Center Kick-starts Sustainable Cooling Journey

University of Birmingham experts are joining the government of the southern state of Telangana to create a ‘hot spot’ for sustainable cooling innovation in India. The Africa Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Cooling and Cold Chain (ACES) will conduct research for the acceleration of food and vaccine distribution, supporting the roll-out of affordable, energy resilient, and low emission cold-chain systems in India.
