1. Trane Expands Wireless Sensing to VRF
Trane recently announced that it was offering Air-Fi wireless sensors for Trane/Mitsubishi Electric City Multi variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system.  Air-Fi wireless sensors detect and monitor temperature, humidity, occupancy conditions, and CO2 from a single device. For contractors and building owners, the sensors offer easier installation with reduced wiring needs, industry-leading battery life, and wireless mesh technology for added network reliability.

2. Dunli Foresees Huge Fan Sales Development in Europe
Dunli Electric Appliances headquartered in Hangzhou, China. In Europe, Dunli established its sales and marketing operation base in Milan, Italy, clearly indicating its serious intention to develop the European fan market for HVAC&R systems. Among respectable European fan market players, Dunli boasts quick responses for new product development, to customization, and prototype delivery. The company significantly shortens the time required for these processes, which normally take four to eight weeks after the complete definition of technical specifications and three-dimensional (3D) drawing for approval.

3. AHRI MENA Makes Inroads in Egypt
Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute’s (AHRI’s) Middle East and North Africa (MENA) team recently exhibited at the HVAC-R Egypt Expo held in Cairo, where they also participated as a Strategic Knowledge Partner and led a workshop on the use of AHRI standards and certification programs.

4. ISKID Assesses 2021 Turkish HVAC&R Industry Data
Mr. Ayk Serdar Didonyan, ISKID chairperson welcomed the participants and made the opening remarks. Emphasizing the export and growth potential of the industry in his presentation, he stated that industrial exports in 2021 reached US$ 6.2 billion, and the target for 2022 will be US$ 7.0 billion. Mr. Dіdonyan stated, “The Turkish HVAC&R industry is expected to achieve a total of US$ 60 billion with an export value of US$ 25 billion and a domestic market size of US$ 35 billion in the next decade.”

5. Can India Become the Second AC Powerhouse after China?
— Middle Class Expansion Holds the Key
Although India was expected to become the second-largest air conditioner market after China, the Indian market has not actually grown as expected. The major reason that Indian air-conditioned demand did not grow sharply is considered to be related to slower than expected expansion of the middle class. The middle class has stable purchasing power and should be the core air conditioner purchasing group.
