AHRI Members Gather at AHRI State Summit to Continue Dialogue

Representatives from more than 40 the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) member companies gathered in Sacramento at the beginning of June for the AHRI State Summit, which brought together industry and policy-makers from the California Air Resources Board, the California Energy Commission, and the California General Assembly. Among the topics discussed were California’s decarbonization plans; the state of the refrigerant transition, including the need for the state to update its building codes to enable the use of A2L refrigerants; and the current business climate in the state.
