Operative National Agreement : Additional Bank Holiday – 19 September 2022

The Government has announced that there will be an additional Bank Holiday for the Queen’s State Funeral on Monday 19 September 2022.Given this unique occasion, the Parties (BESA and Unite the Union), have agreed that this date will be designated as an additional paid recognised holiday, in addition to the existing eight, as defined in Clause 18 of the Operative National Agreement.
