AHRI Commemorates Montreal Protocol Anniversary; Applauds Pending Senate Consideration of Kigali Amendment

Arlington, Va. –  The Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) today marked the 35th Anniversary of one of the most successful treaties ever negotiated – the Montreal Protocol - by applauding U.S. Senate leadership for scheduling floor action next week on ratification of that treaty’s most important amendment, the Kigali Amendment. Ratification will signal continued U.S. support for global environmental protection, while promoting U.S. technological preeminence.
