Trane Technologies Reports Strong Third-Quarter 2022 Operating Results; Raises Full-Year Revenue and EPS Guidance (Excerpt)

SWORDS, Ireland--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Trane Technologies plc (NYSE:TT), a global climate innovator, today reported diluted earnings per share (EPS) from continuing operations of $2.38 for the third quarter of 2022. Adjusted continuing EPS was $2.27, up 26 percent, and was lower than reported diluted EPS by $0.11 due to the exclusion of a discrete tax benefit and a favorable insurance settlement in the third quarter, partially offset by other adjustments.
