1. Heat Pump Manufacturers Strengthening Their Business in Europe
In Europe, demand for heat pumps as contributors to energy savings and environmental protection is increasing fast. Under these circumstances, heat pump manufacturers have been strengthening their business in Europe, by expanding their production, research and development (R&D), sales, and other capabilities.

2. Ingersoll Rand to Acquire SPX FLOW’s Air Treatment Business
On October 6, Ingersoll Rand announced that it had reached an agreement to acquire SPX FLOW’s Air Treatment business for roughly US$ 525 million. After obtaining regulatory approval, completion of the all-cash acquisition is anticipated in the fourth quarter, with the Air Treatment business joining Ingersoll Rand’s industrial technologies and services segment.

3. Investing in the Future; SWEP Strengthens Capabilities on a Global Scal
SWEP is addressing the intensified demand for energy-saving solutions by further investments to deliver brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHEs) around the world. The already-announced expansions of SWEP’s manufacturing plants in Kosice, Slovakia, and in Landskrona, Sweden, are now being accompanied by a third capacity expansion in Suzhou, China. The Suzhou expansion involves a relocation to a new venue currently under construction in which 14,000 m2 will include a new factory and modern office buildings.

4. Hisense Promotes Its Own Brand ACs in Africa
This year, since persistent inflation on a global scale and energy and food crisis are exerting negative impacts on African countries, the air conditioner market is likely to show a sharp decline. Under such tough conditions, Hisense nevertheless achieved double-digit growth in the African air conditioner market and also expanded sales of its own brand air conditioners. These successes are the result of Hisense’s various efforts in recent years in the region, ranging from product development and local production to sales and promotion, and after-sales services.
