Biothermal: January is National Blood Donor Month

As we close out the month of January, it’s another good time to consider blood donation.
 
January is National Blood Donor Month and coincides with a time of year where blood supply is often critically low. According to the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB), people stop donating during the holidays and when sick during cold and flu season. Winter weather also often impacts the ability to hold blood drives.
