1. 2023 AHR Expo – Largest Global HVAC&R
As targeting the achievement of carbon neutrality by 2050 progress around the world, the deployment of heat pumps is accelerating. Aiming to expand sales in the U.S. market, which is full of new possibilities, various manufacturers exhibited heat pumps at this year’s AHR Expo. Among them, air-to-water (ATW) heat pump systems for hot water production were conspicuous, and models for a wide range of applications encompassing residential, commercial, and industrial applications were displayed.

2. Danfoss to Build New Compressor & Sensor Factory in Mexico
Danfoss announced the construction of a new compressor and sensor manufacturing facility in Apodaca, Mexico, on February 7, after having witnessed tremendous growth in demand for cooling technology from the U.S. market. The scroll compressors that Danfoss plans to produce at its new Mexican factory are widely used not only in unitary units, the U.S. representative ducted residential air conditioners, but also in ducted commercial air conditioners such as rooftops and chillers.

3. German Heat Pump Market Grows by 53% in 2022
Germany’s heat pump market recorded impressive 53% growth in 2022, the German Heat Pump Association BWP reports. This growth has been driven mainly by rising consumer awareness of the importance of climate-friendly and efficient heating. Heat pumps provide the best alternative to fossil fuel heating, breaking free from gas imports.

4. Petra Meets Global Demand with Its Wide Range of HVAC Systems

5. Haier Appliances Plans 40% Growth in 2023
With the summer in 2023 expected to be normal according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Haier Appliances India expects the demand for air conditioners to go up. Haier’s infrastructure is ready for the summer, with its manufacturing plants in Ranjangaon near Pune in West India and Noida near New Delhi in North India being operational. With consumers increasingly buying products online stores, Haier Appliances India is set to increase its digital focus.
