UL Solutions to Develop State-of-the-Art Battery Testing Laboratory in Auburn Hills, Michigan

Northbrook, Illinois — March 1, 2023 — UL Solutions, a global leader in applied safety science, announced today that it plans to open a new battery testing laboratory in Auburn Hills, Michigan, in mid-2024. When completed, the facility will be one of the most extensive battery testing and engineering laboratories in North America. UL Solutions’ expert battery engineers and laboratory staff will test electric vehicle (EV) and industrial battery products for compliance with safety and performance requirements for the United States (U.S.) and global markets.
