CR 2022 Technical Reports — Compressors

At China Refrigeration Expo 2022 (CR 2022) held in August in Chongqing, the number of exhibitors and exhibits of compressors decreased significantly compared with previous years. Despite their small numbers, there were a variety of exhibits, covering small-to large-capacity models, residential to commercial models, and air conditioning and refrigeration (AC&R) and heat pump models. There were also compressor models for new energy vehicles, models adopting CO2 refrigerant, and models with novel structures and unique functions. In addition, along with technological improvements in the Chinese compressor industry, some new promising local players emerged, especially in the scroll compressor segment, and displayed their products.
