LG Invests US$ 37 Million to Manufacture AC Components

Under the PLI program initiated by the Indian government, LG Electronics India has invested US$ 37 million to manufacture air conditioner components, including US$ 12.3 million for compressor manufacturing. This landmark move has made LG the first brand to produce its own compressors within the country.
