The Chinese cold chain logistics market is in a rapid development phase and is estimated to have reached RMB 637.1 billion (about US$ 94.3 billion) in 2022, with a year-on-year increase of 11.8%, and is expected to reach RMB 868.6 billion (about US$ 128.6 billion) in 2025, according to data from the Cold Chain Logistics Committee of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP). Within cold chain logistics as a whole, food accounts for about 90%, pharmaceuticals account for about 9%, and chemicals represent about 1%.
