Air Conditioning of the Future

Global energy use by air conditioners is expected to triple by 2050, according to ‘The Future of Cooling’ report from the International Energy Agency (IEA) published in 2018. This is partly due to the fact that there are 2.8 billion people living in hot climates, and air conditioner ownership is expected to increase in those areas.
