1. C&R 2023 to Be Held on November 14 to 17 in Spain
C&R, International Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Exhibition, will be held from November 14 to 17, 2023, at Ifema Madrid, Spain, as face-to-face event. In addition, C&R will be held online as Live Connect. Besides product exhibits, there will be many events such as C&R Forum, Applied Techniques Workshop, Refrigeration Workshop, an Innovation Gallery.

2. Huayi’s Capacity Expansion Project Put into Operation
On July 28, Huayi Compressor (Jinzhou) held a ceremony to celebrate the putting into operation of its newly-added 10-million-unit capacity expansion project (phase one) and the first compressor rolling off the production line. When the phase one project reaches full capacity, the company will achieve an annual production capacity of up to 4 million units, and the total production capacity will reach 15 million units. The company plans to have its production and sales scale breaking 20 million units in 3 to 5 years, doubling revenues and taxes.

3. Danfoss Smart Store: A Beacon of Energy Efficiency
On June 29, the COOP 365 Smart Store opened for the public for the first time. In the Smart Store established in Denmark, Danfoss cooling and heating technologies are in operation 24/7. Featuring only existing and available solutions and technology – in a fully operational supermarket, visitors get to see exactly how supermarkets can reduce food loss and improve food safety, work towards a net zero store, utilize digitalization to optimize operations, and become a key player in the energy eco system.

4. Swegon and Frascold Join Forces to Develop Reversible R290 Heat Pumps
The collaborative effort between Swegon’s technical team and Frascold’s specialists resulted in the creation of the TITAN Sky range - a series of reversible heat pumps. Swegon was responsible for the overall design, while Frascold played a crucial role in selecting the compressor, which serves as the heart of the entire system.

5. Epta Restores the Future with Its Sustainable Refrigeration
At EuroShop 2023 held from February 26 to March 2 in Düsseldorf, Germany, JARN interviewed William Pagani, chief marketing officer (CMO) of Epta, a commercial refrigeration leader based in Italy. He introduced Epta’s profile, highlights at the exhibition, etc.
