1. U.S. Aims to Quadruple Heat Pump Installations by 2030
On September 21, 2023, the U.S. Climate Alliance, a bipartisan coalition of 25 governors representing about 60% of the U.S. economy and 55% of the U.S. population, announced a series of new commitments from its members to eliminate emissions from buildings, including collectively quadrupling heat pump installations by the end of the decade. Heat pumps can play a critical role, providing energy-efficient heating and cooling that reduce emissions from homes and businesses.

2. Hitachi air365 Hybrid Is a Powerful Drawcard for Flexible Clean Heating
In September, Johnson Controls–Hitachi Air Conditioning launched Hitachi air365 Hybrid, an emissions-reducing residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) dual fuel heat pump system. Voltas, the venerable 69-year-old company under the Tata umbrella renowned primarily for its air conditioners and refrigerators, is poised to undergo a remarkable transformation aimed at securing its position among India’s top three consumer durable brands. Chairman Noel Tata has articulated an ambitious vision for the company, characterized by enhanced capital infusion, expedited decision-making processes, and strengthened leadership.

4. RAC Component Exhibits Stand out at RHVAC Indonesia
Refrigeration & HVAC Indonesia (RHVAC Indonesia), the largest refrigeration, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and energy efficient technology exhibition in Indonesia, was held simultaneously with Industrial & Commercial Building Technology (ICBT) Indonesia, at Jakarta International Expo on September 20 to 22, 2023.

5. AUX Aims to Evolve with Its European Partners
AUX, a China-based global leader in the air conditioning industry, held its European Strategic Partner Conference in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on September 11 to 14, 2023.  Titled‘Co-Evolution’, AUX introduced the advantages of its products, technologies, strategies, etc. in order to evolve towards the future jointly with its European partners.
