In 2022, the European market for chillers with capacities above 50 kW maintained stable year-on-year growth of 11%, reaching more than €1.65 billion (about US$ 1.74 billion). The positive evolution was supported mainly by air-cooled chillers that increased by 14% compared with 2021. Meanwhile, water-cooled units recorded a slight 1% year-on-year dip. As a result, the share of air-cooled chillers in total European sales slightly increased to 80% in 2022.
