Ireland Joins IEA Heat Pump Technology Collaboration Program

In September 2023, Ireland joined the Technology Collaboration Programme on Heat Pumping Technologies (HPT TCP) by International Energy Agency (IEA). This major step reinforces Ireland’s commitment to sustainable energy and decarbonization and is a part of Ireland’s strategic efforts to drive the adoption of heat pumps and reduce the nation’s reliance on fossil fuels. The program now has 20 member countries from three different continents.
