U. S. and India Launch Joint Renewable Energy Tech Platform

The renewable energy platform has an initial focus on green hydrogen, wind power, long-duration energy storage, and the exploration of geothermal energy. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) have jointly launched the U.S.-India Renewable Energy Technology Action Platform (RETAP) under the Strategic Clean Energy Partnership.
