RACs in India to Need More Electricity than The Whole of Africa

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has said that the country’s demand for electrical appliances tripled since 2010. India’s total electricity demand from room air conditioners (RACs) in 2050 is most likely to exceed the total amount of electricity consumed across Africa now, said the IEA.
