Last year, the pandemic seemed to have come to an end, and many international exhibitions in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) solutions field resumed as face-to-face events, which revitalized the industry. On the other hand, the industry faced many challenges. In particular, the unprecedented scale of natural disasters reaffirmed the need to implement effective and urgent measures to combat global warming. At the end of 2023, the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), decided such measures and some of them are closely related to the HVAC&R industry.
