1. Carrier Completes Acquisition of Viessmann Climate Solutions

2. Daikin Europe to Continue to Grow
Daikin Europe celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2023. In this special year, JARN interviewed Toshitaka Tsubouchi, president of Daikin Europe, to hear about the company’s strengths it has built in the past 50 years of growth in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) industry, and the new themes it will develop to achieve continuous growth in the next 50 years.

3. MCE to Go Beyond Comfort
Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE), a prestigious showcase for companies in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R), renewable energy, and energy efficiency sectors, will be held on March 12 to 15, 2024 at Fiera Milano in Italy. According to the latest figures, over 1,300 exhibitors have registered, with 55% from overseas.

4. World Air Conditioner Market in 2023 - Russia
In previous years, such summer weather conditions resulted in lower sales or, at best, market stagnation. Late warmth never led to an increase in demand. However, in 2023, the situation changed, and the country’s RAC and PAC sales results in August resembled those of a very hot June. As a result, in 2023 the Russian RAC/ PAC market grew from last year’s 2.7 million units to 3.1 million units, setting a new sales record for Russia.

5. TCL Air Conditioning Wuhan Selected as National Green Factory
A green factory is a new factory model created according to the principles of intensive land use, harmless raw material acquisition, clean production, waste resource recovery, and the use of low-carbon energy. Built in accordance with the national digital pilot enterprise standard, construction of the TCL Air Conditioning Wuhan smart manufacturing base began in March. The base covers an area of about 390,000 m2, representing a total investment of RMB 3.42 billion (about US$ 481.2 million). The Phase one project plans cover about 182,000 m2 with an annual production capacity of 6 million units.
