Hisense Partners with Honeywell on Lower-GWP Refrigerants

On February 29, Honeywell announced that Hisense will use Honeywell’s Solstice 454B refrigerant with its residential air conditioner products. Solstice 454B is a lower-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant designed to replace R410A refrigerant with minimal conversion costs.
