U.S. DOE Promoting Heat Pump Rooftops for Commercial Buildings

On April 3, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced new Better Building Initiatives at the annual Better Buildings, Better Plants Summit, including the Better Buildings Commercial Building Heat Pump Accelerator. In one initiative, DOE will work with manufacturing and commercial partners to accelerate development and adoption of heat pump rooftop units. The initiative is slated to run from 2024 to 2027.
