DOE Finalizes Water Heater Efficiency Standards

On April 30, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) finalized energy-efficiency standards for residential water heaters, which are required by the U.S. Congress to be periodically updated. This is the first update to the energy-efficiency standards since 2010.
