The Consortium for the Research Strategy of Next-generation Heat Pump Technology under the umbrella of Sustainable Energy & Environmental Society Open Innovation Research Organization (SEES), Waseda University, was established in 2020 in Japan to develop strategic research on heat pump-related technologies. JARN interviewed Prof. Kiyoshi Saito, consortium president, and asked him about the importance, issues, and future prospects of heat pumps.
