From June 1 to 4, 2021 International Food Machinery & Technology Exhibition (Fooma Japan 2021), Asia’s largest comprehensive trade show in the food technology sector, sponsored by the Japan Food Machinery Manufacturer’s Association (FOOMA), was held at Aichi Sky Expo in Aichi Prefecture. The 44th edition of Fooma Japan 2021 was held under the theme of ‘Creativity will change the future of food.’ A total of 661 companies exhibited in all 19 fields, such as the food manufacturing and processing fields, engineering robots and the Internet of Things (IoT) field, the cutting-edge automation segment that solves labor shortages and is labor saving, as well as hygiene measures and the management field that are useful for introducing hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP). The total number of visitors over the four- day period was 22,420.
