Japanese domestic shipments of RACs in the first half of 2022 reached 4, 941, 887 units, down 11.5% over the same period of 2021, according to data from the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (JRAIA). This decrease is seen as a reaction to the unusually strong stay-at-home demand in 2021.
